How to Do the BbY WOW Trend on TikTok and CapCut

Oct 20, 2026

The BbY WOW trend is everywhere, and there are two honest ways in: do it yourself, or let a tool do it for you. This guide covers both, so you can pick the one that fits your evening.

The manual route: TikTok

1. Find the sound. Search "BbY WOW KAROL G" in TikTok, open a video that uses the original sound and tap the spinning disc. Save the sound so it is one tap away.

2. Learn the step. Many creators post slowed-down tutorials of the "pasito", the short step at the centre of the trend. Search for the trend name plus "tutorial" and pick one that shows the whole body. Playing it at 0.75x helps, and creators often overlay the arm and leg moves as emoji prompts.

3. Set up the shot. Prop your phone vertically at about chest height, step back until your whole body is in frame and pick a plain wall. Good light from a window beats any ring light you might own.

4. Record a few takes. Press record, nod at the beat and do the step through. Do not expect take one to be the winner. Five takes is normal.

5. Add text and post. Use the sound you saved, drop a caption and tag it with the trend hashtags. That is it.

The CapCut route

CapCut lists templates for the trend. Search "dime dime baby" in the template tab, choose one you like and the app tells you how many clips or photos it needs. You drop in your own, let the template place them and export.

A few tips:

  • Pick a template with a clip count you can actually fill. Ten required clips is ten problems.
  • Use vertical clips shot at the same distance, so the template cuts look smooth.
  • Check the audio before exporting. Some templates let you swap the sound.

Templates are quick once you have the clips. The catch is that you still need the clips, and for dance templates that means filming.

The meme version: the quinceañera guy

Some people skip the choreography and recreate the meme: walk toward the camera dancing, take a bite of a concha, stare straight into the lens, then keep dancing. A few things make it work:

  • Commit to the walk. The meme only works if you move like the party belongs to you.
  • Time the bite. The concha bite lands a bit over three seconds into the eight-second clip.
  • Hold the stare. The longest pause is the funniest. Do not laugh.

You can see each beat in our eight-second anatomy, and the meaning of the phrase is worth knowing before you caption it.

The AI shortcut

If you do not want to film anything, upload a single photo to the BbY WOW trend generator. It uses motion transfer: the dance is copied from a reference clip onto the person in your photo, and the BbY WOW audio is already in the video.

  1. Drop in a clear, full-body photo of a person, baby or pet.
  2. Pick The BbY WOW Step, The Quince Guy or Baby Groove.
  3. Press Make it dance and wait two to four minutes.
  4. Download the 8-second MP4 and post it.

The first dance is free for new accounts. Each dance after that costs 10 credits, and failed dances are refunded.

Tips that work for every route

  • Vertical, 9:16. Everything on the platform expects it.
  • Full body. The dance reads from the shoulders down.
  • Good light and a quiet background. They matter more than any filter.
  • Post it with the sound. The sound is the trend, so do not strip it.

Recap

The BbY WOW trend is a TikTok dance built on KAROL G, Judeline and rusowsky's track. You can learn it and film it, use a CapCut template, or skip all of that and make the video from one photo.

Dime Dime Baby is an independent fan tool and is not affiliated with KAROL G, CapCut or TikTok.
